Full time Curriculum
Programs & Academic StandardsThe goal of the Guild Method is to meet and transcend learning standards established on the local and national level by offering opportunities for the apprentice to acquire, respond, and create. The Guild Method provides the structured mentorship that leads to the development of the whole person.
Daily Program
Our program operates on campus Monday through Thursday from 9 to 3. Our four cohorts—grades K through 8, engage in a full range of humanities classes that meet and surpass grade-level academic standards. Students not opting into our optional Friday Study Hall (9:00 to 1:00), are sent home with a Friday Work packet of assignments to complete at home. Each day we begin with Moral Compass and move directly into our academic offerings which include rigorous and individualized math, a language arts program where students read for purpose and write authentically, integrated hands-on science, Latin, Spanish, history, arts & music and so much more.
Guild Touchstones
Touchstone: a hard siliceous stone used to test the purity of gold; a criterion or standard by which a judgment is made.
Guild Touchstones represent the markers that provide reference points along an individual apprentice’s academic journey. Integrating the acquisition of knowledge with the practice of Creative Critical Thinking is a one-step-at-a-time process that progressively leads to the formation of Habits of Being and relevant learning above and beyond mere proficiency.
Foundation Touchstones
